Hot Rods and Customs Featured at Mecum Kissimmee 2026

Mecum’s Kissimmee, Florida, 13-day Collector Car Auction, held each January, is best known for its extensive lineup of vintage Corvettes, muscle cars, pony cars, modernized pickup trucks, American classics, and European exotics. With as many as 4,500 vehicles expected to cross the auction block at Osceola Heritage Park in January 2026, the event will also feature a selection of noteworthy traditional hot rods and custom cars.

Among the vehicles likely to be of particular interest to hot rod and custom enthusiasts are several standout builds scheduled across multiple auction days.

Saturday, January 10, 2026 – Auction Day 5

Lot K124 is a 1949 Mercury Custom Convertible built by legendary California customizer Dick Dean and featured in the Fall 1992 issue of Custom Rodder Magazine.

Lot K156 is a 1932 Ford steel-bodied Hi-Boy Roadster built by Pete Chapouris of Pete & Jake’s Hot Rod Shop.

Lot K298 is a 1932 Ford Dearborn Deuce constructed by Special Projects, Inc. to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the 1932 Ford.

Friday, January 16, 2026 – Auction Day 11

Lot F281 is a 1932 Ford steel-bodied Spencer II Hi-Boy Roadster, a two-time Grand National Roadster Show class award winner. The car was designed and initiated by legendary hot rodder Doane Spencer.

Lot S52 is a flathead-powered 1936 Ford 5-Window Coupe equipped with a rumble seat, representing a 1950s-style favorite with subtle modern updates.
