The first of three Woodbridge New Jersey Main St Cruise Nights was a walloping success by any measure.
Though there was some high cloudiness, there wasn’t any rain, and the temps were well within the comfortable range. The participant crowd began building around 2:30 P.M., and by 5:00 P.M., the Police blocked off the both ends of Main St, so the participants could angle park, which was a half hour before the official start of the event.
Even after the street was blocked off, and the event underway, participants were still filtering in, and just like in the early years of this event, show vehicles were on the side streets, in adjacent Parking Lots, and anywhere else they could go. A rough estimate would put the vehicle participant number, at around 200 vehicles.
At 8:30 P.M. the 50/50 Raffle was called, and Trophy presentations began, and by 9:30 P.M., the Cruise Night finally came to a close.
