Tonight, was the first in the series of the Metuchen New Jersey Downtown Cruise Nights, and the weather was as good as anyone could ask for.

The turnout, thanks to the weather, and the tireless efforts of the Cruise Night Team, was fantastic, with barely a space to be found by the time things got into full swing.

WOLD Oldies Radio live broadcast from the Cruise Night, highlighting many of the event’s very much appreciated Sponsors, and noting another upcoming event, the annual Metuchen Rescue Squad Benefit Car-Truck-Motorcycle Show, scheduled for August 13, 2023.

For yours truly, it was old home night, and I connected up with a lot of not only car hobby friends, but both brothers of a lifelong friend, who isn’t doing as well as I, or his brothers would like. Still in all, it was great to see my friend’s brothers, and share our mutual concern for my brother from another mother.

The event wrapped up around 8:30 p.m., and the awards were presented.
