The first in a series of five once a month Downtown Cruise Nights on Main St in Metuchen New Jersey was greeted by summer-like weather, fortunately minus any thunderstorms.

There were two other Cruise Nights near the Metuchen Cruise Night, but the attendance was still strong at the Downtown Cruise Night. The night officially starts at 6:00 P.M., and runs until around 8:00-8:30 P.M., with popular vote balloting determining which three vehicles get to win a trophy.

Live DJ music is part of the event, and with the numerous eateries doting the landscape, plenty of places from which to get food.

Next month’s Cruise Night is scheduled for June 6, 2018, with the rain date being June 13, 2018.
