Though delayed by rain for a week, the first for the season Metuchen Downtown Cruise Night went off without a hitch tonight and drew a respectable crowd. The event officially started at 6:00 p.m., and ran until 8:30 p.m., covering New St, Center St, and a part of the Senior Center Parking Lot. Awards were presented around 8:15 p.m., and the event concluded shortly afterward.
