MHRA Rod Repair Shop – 42 Years of On-site Emergency Repairs

Car shows are great places to meet like-minded folks and chat with old friends, and we’re excited to catch up with the guys from the MHRA Rod Repair Shop at this week’s NSRA 44th Annual Street Rod Nationals Plus in Louisville, Kentucky.

Max Lunsford and the awesome volunteers who run the Michigan Hot Rod Association (MHRA) Rod Repair Shop will be on-site in Louisville with their repair trailer, ready to provide emergency repair services to keep the show cars in running condition, at no cost to the car owners!

The MHRA Rod Repair Shop trailer has been taken all over the USA for the last 42 years, logged over 200,000 miles and is powered by donations from sponsors, street rodders, selfless volunteers and of course the MHRA.  Stop by and say hello! It’s hard to miss the guys in the bright red shirts!

The rolling repair shop and the hardworking volunteers have traveled all over this summer, supporting NSRA shows in Knoxville, TN and York, PA in addition to the MSRA’s “Back to the Fifties”, where we last caught up with them.  After KY, they’ll head on to Kalamazoo, MI for their final show of the season.

Be sure to stop by and say hello to the MHRA Rod Repair Shop and thank them for all of their hard work!  Hot Rod Hotline is proud to sponsor the shop, and to work with these dedicated and talented folks.
