Hello to all
Here's some more pics of our '40 Ford Standard Coupe, Pro-Street. The "Frame Powdercoat" pics show myself, and Wayne and Chris, (the owners of Wilder Creations), in Wilder, KY. Who are responsible for some really great powder coat work. The frame was coated in a black with silver vein, then shot again in Candy Purple. This result is a wicked purple finish, which I also applied to my grill. The suspension parts are all coated in a "Chrome" powdercoat, and also my fuel cell, hood latches, a-arms and springs. So here they are!!! Enjoy…….Mike Dirr!!!
Here are some of the body pics as it is in the final stages of prep before paint. Thanks to Junior Lester whose huge effort has paid off with a first class job. He will follow up with a PPG Frost/over Silver paint scheme, with the front fenders, hood and sides wrapped in Candy Blue and Candy Purple Flames with all flames pinstriped by Josh Shaw. Details include finished door jams, smoothed cowl vent and rain gutters, flush fitted fenders. There's a shot of a dash insert that I made using the original chrome ring around the outside edge of the gauges, with an oak panel covered in the same plum leather as my seats, with Ford Racing tach and speedo. Thanks, Mike and Carol Dirr!!!
Wow, Mike is sure moving along on his coool ride!!!
