I purchased the 36 in Riverside Calif. in 1970 for $300. It was parked behind a house in a field for a year, had a 265 cu in motor, a blown stock rear end and three teeth broken off in first gear.
We put in another stock rear end, replaced the first gear, gave it a new battery, primed the carburetor, started it and drove back to Pomona Calif. I drove the car for a year or so and then parked it in a garage. Started taking it apart in the late 1980's to restore. It sat in different garages until 2004.
I gave the '36 to Scott Wright (Cobweb Specialties) in 2004 to be built. A year later, in Nov. 2005, I got the car back from the paint shop in Puyallup, Wash. ( Gary Door). I started mounting the body together, rewired, put in new glass and a new interior (Don Mettle, Lakewood Wash.). We finished the delivery in March 2006, in time for the Mild to Wild Car Show at the Tacoma Dome in Wash. It's since been shown in many shows in Wash. and Ariz.
