New Flare Lapping Tool from Koul Tools

Now there’s an easy way to ensure optimum sealing with flared hard lines employed in crucial brake and fuel system applications. The innovative new Surseat lapping tool removes irregularities in the flare and prevents surface risers. In addition to perfecting newly-flared stainless steel, aluminum or copper lines, the Surseat can also rejuvenate the seal on existing brake and fuel lines for restoration projects.

The Surseat operates on the same premise as the ages-old process of lapping engine valves. A precision diamond dust coated lapping head (in either 37° or 45° configuration) literally polishes the flare smooth to perfection. The Surseat is a valuable asset for car builders, automotive repair facilities and serious do-it-yourselfers.

The Surseat P-51 kit can be used on 3/16" to 1/2" hard lines with a 37° or 45° flare.

·         Includes 37° and 45° interchangeable diamond dust coated lapping heads.

·         Comes with collets for 3/16" to 1/2" tubing.

·         Collets for 3/16" and 1/4" threaded brake lines are also included.

·         A custom carrying case is included for safe storage.

The Surseat Mini P-37 and P-45 models are designed for 3/16" & 1/4" brake lines.

·         Model P-37 is used for stainless steel lines with a 37° flare.

·         Model P-45 is used for steel lines with a 45° double flare.

·         Both models feature diamond dust lapping heads.

·         Includes collets for 3/16” and 1/4” brake lines.

·         A custom carrying case is included for both the P-37 and P-45.

About Koul Tools

Since the invention of stainless braided rubber hose, racers and mechanics have been fighting the problem of installing it into the socket part of the assembly. If your lucky and get a clean cut on the end of that hose, you might get it in. Most of the time a little fuzz appears on the hose end and the battle begins. It is not only time consuming, it can get bloody. KOUL tools has delivered a solution that makes the assembly a snap. Manufactured of a high tech composite, it is virtually indestructible. No need to worry about vise marks or wearing out. Just insert the socket into the tool, twist the hose in, and in less than 10 seconds you have it assembled. You can repeat this several times without recutting the hose end. The tool can pay for itself the first time you don't have to scrap some hose because it got too short trying to clean up the end. You'll be amazed at the amount of time you'll save. After using this tool, you will say to yourself, "KOUL".
