Woodbridge New Jersey Main St Cruise Night

Tonight marked the first in a series of three Cruise Nights held on Main Street in Woodbridge New Jersey, and while the first Cruise Night of the 2016 season was packed with vehicles and spectators, the 2017 vehicle count debut was much lighter.

The spectators, and vehicle owners I spoke to about there being not all that many vehicles at this first Cruise Night of 2017 gave a number of opinions on the subject. The first item many mentioned in regard to this June 2017 not generating a large vehicle count was an earlier threat of thunderstorms. The second item mentioned as a contributory factor in the light vehicle count was that there was another Cruise Night in South Amboy New Jersey, on this same night. There were also a few spectators and vehicle owners I spoke to, who stated they felt the difficulty many encountered getting on to Main St in June of 2016, dissuaded them from coming back in 2017.

Whatever the reason, or reasons for a light turnout at this Cruise Night, it was still a nice event, and we can only hope the July event is better attended.
