1st Annual “Caring for Katie” Benefit Car Show

EveryCarShow.Com had it's 1st Annual Caring for "Katie" Indoor/Outdoor Fundraising Event at the Valley Forge Casino Resort.  All the proceeds benefited Katie Rohrbacher.  A picture of her is in the coverage sitting next to my car.  They were expecting over 400 vehicles until one unexpected participant showed up, Hurricane Sandy.  This drastically cut down on the cars attending.  But, still the hardy showed up anyway and had a good time.  Altogether $4000 was raised for Katie.  A great amount considering the size of the show.  Since there was such a small amount of cars, I included some newer vehicles that had some work done to them.  Enjoy the pictures. On November 30th of 2003, Katie was injured in a car accident and now suffers from a traumatic brain injury. Katie spent a month in a coma at Lehigh Valley Hospital. Once Katie became alert, she was moved to Bryn Mawr Rehab and began her long road to recovery.  Katie has spent the last (almost) nine years beating the odds that were held against her and triumphing through new endeavors.  No matter what, or how hard the task, Katie may encounter she always has a smile on her face.  This show is to help with her long term care.
