Woodies, surfing and the beach all came together here at Doheny Beach.  Almost 125 rare Woodies gathered to celebrate the beach culture.  The weather for the So. Cal. Woodie Club event was not cooperating, 15mph winds and cool temperatures kept jackets on and flags blowing.  After the presentation of our “Colors”, the show was open.  The Woodies events are one of the few shows that do this. 

There is something special about seeing Woodies at the beach, and in Southern California, Doheny Beach will do just fine.  They come from as far away as Northern California, Nevada, and Arizona.  Many of the vendors here are unique to beach & Woodies events.   It’s more than just the great cars that capture our imagination; it’s a bygone, more blissful era.
