Hi, here are some pics of my '33 Speedstar Coupe. A little about the car; the body is a 1933 Speedstar Coupe designed by Bobby Alloway and built by Rats Glass, the frame is built by Bobby Alloway of Alloways Street Rod Shop and is custom built to fit the speedstar body.
The front is polished stainless Heidts with a Currie Int. 9" Ford with polished center section with Wilwood polished billet disc brakes on all 4 corners. The engine is 1996 Corvette LT1 350ci W/4L60E trans w/Lokar shifter and hooks to the rear via an aluminum driveshaft from Inland Empire. Power windows and Downs electric trunk lift and power door locks all controlled by Dakota Digital Comander 9000 remote system. The engine is monitored through Dakota Digital instruments. Headers and all chromed billet accessories on engine are from Street & Performance, powder coated exhaust, polished billet grille, polished aluminum radiator. The paint is a custom mix 3 stage red called Erica Red and the interior is a light colored tan leather and it all rides on a set of fully show polished Colorado Custom Lezear series wheels 15x6 front, 17x11 rear wrapped in BFG Comp T/A radials.
Here's a shop tour of one of the premier upholstery shops in this part of the country. He's a friend and done the interior in my Speedstar and I figured why not. I went down to Knoxville, TN to check on my newly completed Speedstar Coupe which I had taken to Pro Auto to have the leather hides installed and while I was there I took a few pics. Pro Auto Upholstery shop is owned and operated by Steve Holcomb and just recently moved into his brand new shop and it's nice. Now, Steve is a great guy, he has done upholstery work for me in the past and I might add I was completely satisfied with the quality. The work is done by Steve and his cousin Tim Amanns and they do beautiful upholstery.
