HURRICANE Heaters

If you are looking at the HURRICANE® Heaters and might want A/C in the future, we actually recommend you go with a Heat, Cool, & Defrost Inside Package System. This way, later down the road if you change your mind, you can purchase and install the underhood components to have AC without having to totally install a new system.

Our HURRICANE® Heaters are very similar to the same size of Factory Style Heaters and in most cases bolt up to the firewall in the same spot utilizing the same holes in the firewall for the fittings to pass through.

Two options are available when choosing which HURRICANE® Unit is right for you… Cable Operated Controls, or Electronic Controls.


The Cable Operated version is operated with “EZ Slider™” choke type pull cables for the defrost & heater function.	The Electronic version features electronic controls and high torque screw-drive servo motors to control heater and defrost functions

We also offer 2 options for how the fittings exit the case:

1000/1100 Series

A/C & Heater Fittings go directly through the firewall from the upper half of the case.

3000/3100 Series

A/C & Heater Fittings go directly through the firewall from the lower half of the case.
