Though the ‘Stars and Cars” Cruise Night at the Olive Garden had to go to its Rain Date, the participant turnout was still strong, with a good s howing if TV Show ‘Feature Cars’ , and a variety of oth er vehicles brought by the general participant crowd .

The guest of honor, Butch Patrick (Eddie Munster) from the 1960’s hit TV series, The Munsters, arrived around 6:00 P.M., alternately autographing period photos of himself as Eddie Munster, chatting with admirers, picking his favorite real cars, and autographing diecast miniatures of the Munster family coach, and Grandpa Munster’s Dragula.

One thing that impressed yours truly about Butch Patrick, was just how down to earth a kind of guy he is, and, here was a surprise, at least to myself, that Butch Patrick is a ‘Car Guy.’ Yes, folks, Butch Patrick has owned his share of American Muscle, and truly enjoys talking about them.

The ‘Parade of Winners’ commenced at around 8:30 P.M., and by 9:00 P.M. a very successful ‘Car and Stars’ event at the Woodbridge NJ Olive Garden came to an end, with DJ Chuck Leonard wishing everyone a safe trip home.
