Check out Ralph Williams' 1950 Plymouth 350 ZZ4 Fatman Mustang II.
From Ralph:
I am the 3rd owner. It was stock when I bought it in 1981 with 56,000 miles. I drove it stock from '81 until 2006. From '06 to '08 myself, Bruce Fair and Gene Rutherford resto-rodded the car with a GM crate 350 ZZ4 engine, Fatman IFS front suspension, Vintage A/C, 350 Turbo automatic transmission, and a Z28 Camaro rear end. We also repainted the car with an '07 Dodge Viper red, and sanded and revarnished all the original wood (inside and out). Since August 2008, I have put 30,000 miles on the car. Go to surferralph.com and you will see the two major trips: 112 days Atlanta-Nova Scotia-Florida- Atlanta and 56 days Atlanta-Washington DC-Santa Cruz,CA (via Route 66 when possible)-Atlanta. The trailer is a 2008 Little Guy Teardrop with room to sleep two,and a kitchen in the back lift area that has a hot-plate, microwave and Hibachi grill. The trailer also has A/C and heat. My motivation to travel is surfing and meeting nice people all over the USA.
Thanks for sharing your ride with us, Ralph!
