The Tuesday night Cruise Night, hosted by the Raritan Bay Cruisers has been back up and running for a while now, but like all good things, will soon be coming to an end for the season. I finally made to the event this past Tuesday, September 15, 2020, and there were barely any spaces to be had by 6:00 p.m. Not wanting to deal with the clean-up at 9:30 p.m. when I got home, I took my Son’s 1989 Dodge W-250, which I have dubbed “Roadkill.” If you’ve seen the vehicle, you’d know how it came to be called that. The Cruise Night ran to about 9:00 p.m., though we were literally in the dark from sundown, until around 8:00 p.m., when the Parking Lot Lights came on, but the lack of lighting, didn’t dim the upbeat tenor of the Cruise Night.
