Thanks to Keith & Fred Majka who are partners in a family business that has made custom Railings for over 50 years. Both are the owners and curators of some the best historical Indy and Midget cars and more. It’s amazing what you can see in this 20,000 SF building that’s pilled floor to ceiling. Keith just picked up a trailer load of OFFY parts that are some of the finest parts around.
One of the highlights of this collection is the JIM HURTUBISE… MALLARD TURBO INDY CAR that is in the early stages of restoration. The history of the tale of Jim Hurtubise and his Mallard-Offy is the last front-engined roadster to race in the Indianapolis 500.
The other cars located in various parts of the building date back to the early days of auto-racing in the 1900’s. Keith’s involvement is instrumental in the Hinchcliffe Stadium Racing History. This is a place where Art Cross and others started racing back in the day then going on to run Indy.www.hemmings.com/…/
