We arrived in Somerville around 3:30 P.M., and spaces were already hard to find for the Classic Vehicle owners. Unfortunately those in charge of the event do not start bagging the Meters until 4:30 P.M., so a large part of the scarcity of available spaces for Show Vehicles, are the ‘Daily Driver’ vehicles occupying a large number of the Parking Spaces. The parking issue aside, the turnout for this Cruise Night was quite good, with approximately 200 vehicles by the time the event was in full swing. There was plenty to see, from Streetrods, to Hotrods, Muscle Cars, stock production vehicles, limited production vehicles, Rat Rods, and a few pre-WWII vehicles.
When we left at 9:30 P.M., there were still at 50 or more Show Vehicles on Main St in downtown Somerville.
