The Speedway Motors Big Rig is hitting the highway for a coast to coast road trip in 2012!
The sleek, black Speedway Motors Big Rig will travel to 23 events across the country this year, starting this weekend, March 9-11, at the Goodguys Spring Nationals in Scottsdale, Arizona. Piloted by husband-and-wife team Gene and Starla Kalinowski, the 75-foot-long rig carries a wide range of Speedway Motors display products and vehicles, highlighted by an all-new Tribute T roadster, plus a rolling 1935-’40 Ford chassis and Model A chassis, each powered by a potent crate engine from BluePrint Engines.
In honor of Speedway Motors’ milestone 60th anniversary, you can step inside the rig’s air-conditioned trailer to see a special Museum of American Speed display or watch videos about company history and products. You can even sign a guest book to share your Speedway Motors memories, or sign up for a valuable gift card drawing.
