Surf City Garage Challenges Local High School Students To Create New Commercials

When Surf City Garage wanted a fresh, new take on advertising our products, we didn’t go to a big Madison Avenue ad agency. Instead, we went to Huntington Beach High School to give the students there an opportunity to show off their creativity and advertising chops. Different teams developed their own idea and submitted their completed commercials to us.

All the commercials were great and it was a tough decision, but we had to pick the winners. And those commercials now air nationally on SPEED during the Chop Cut Rebuild, the popular automotive television series. How awesome is that! – from high school to budding advertising moguls in under a month. Thanks to all the students who worked so hard and came up with a ton of great ideas.
