The 5th Spring Lone Star Nationals are happening this weekend, March 20-22, at Texas Motor Speedway will be NUTS thanks to a special appearance by the Planters NUTmobile – a 23-foot long mobile peanut.

More than just a peanut on wheels, the NUTmobile will offer kids and adults of all ages a fun filled interactive experience, a chance to meet and take pictures with Mr Peanut as well as sample Planters new salted caramel peanuts.

Planters has three NUTmobile vehicles currently driving around the country. The vehicle that will be in hand in Texas was built in Massachusetts in 2011 for a sustainability campaign Planters was running at the time. A technologically advanced vehicle, it features a wind turbine as well as solar panels on the top that allow those nutty folks from Planters to harness natural energy while driving.
