From the early 1G small case alternators that require an external voltage regulator to the latest 6G alternators, Tuff Stuff makes the custom alternator you are looking for! Finishes range from chrome plated, polished aluminum, powder coated and as cast with amperage ratings ranging from 70 to 225, depending upon the series. A variety of pulleys are available and many alternators can be ordered with a 1-wire option for a clean, simple installation. The custom alternators are unique in that they utilize the front half of the 1G alternator and a custom back that incorporate a larger rotor, stator and improved electronics for increased output.
