Back again at the Waldwick Community Alliance Car Show at the Waldwick Train Station. The weather was perfect and the place was packed by 10:00 with close to 300 entries filling over into the streets. Everything from Gassers, Stock, Motorcycles, Muscle Cars and even a old truck from the 1900”s .
TheWaldwick Community Alliance plans to restore the train station back to its original state and open a historical museum to commemorate the history of the area with displays, photographs and other “period” pieces. Preservation New Jersey added the Waldwick Train Station to thestate’s “10 Most Endangered Historic Places” list. Sites are chosen based on historical significance, critical nature of the threat identified and the likelihood that inclusion will have a positive impact on efforts to protect the endangered building. All of the show proceeds goes towards the restoration of the Waldwick Train Station.
