WEEDETR Street Rod Components was started in 1986 by Dale Caulfield. Mr. Caulfield has been in the business of building street rods for over 30 years. At the beginning of the “Fat Fender” popularity, Mr Caulfield was in the process of building three fat fendered Fords from the ground up. Since he had already built his own 40 Ford sedan delivery, he decided that the suspension system under it would be good to manufacture for use under these vehicles because it worked so well and it could be made to be simple to install.  With the product line now over three hundred part numbers and the coverage expanding from 1926 Ford to mid-60’s GM vehicles, there doesn’t appear to be an end to the products that WEEDETR is working on.
