WELD will present a Sunday, March 8 breakfast seminar on wheel technology during the 2015 Detroit Autorama at Cobo Center. The event is open to all Autorama exhibitors and will begin at 9 a.m. at the WELD booth (#915).
“This is a great opportunity for custom car builders to learn everything they need to know about high performance wheels,” said Chris Bovis, vice president of marketing for WELD. “The information will help attendees learn about the types of materials used to make wheels, how to properly measure a car for custom wheel fitment, and advice for the proper care on all types of wheel finishes.”
WELD representatives will also be available at the company’s Autorama booth to provide information and expert advice on wheels during the show’s three-day run from March 6-8. WELD’s exhibit will include a display of more than 30 different wheels from its line of high quality forged race wheels for dirt, oval and drag racing, along with wheels for performance street cars and trucks. This includes the company’s Rekon Off Road by WELD, WELD Street & Strip, WELD Racing, and the company’s newest line, CCW Forged Performance.
Each WELD wheel is precision engineered for maximum performance on the street, off road, and at the track. The company’s wheels are engineered, produced, and tested at WELD’s facilities in Kansas City, Mo. using only aircraft grade aluminum alloys and state-of-the-art manufacturing processes.
