The Suede Palace (like a show inside a show) Axel, THE MAN in charge of the “Suede Palace”.

Their unique awards are presented on Saturday so not to be overshadowed by GNRS awards on Sunday.

The Eastman Family restored ’29 Ford model A V8 Roadster, waits for its new life.

The building lights reflecting off the suede of this late 40’s coupe, just looked cool.

The last time I saw this “Atomic Punk” was in the rain at the Mooneyes Xmas party. Owner/builder Aaron Grote customized this ’59 Plymouth into what you see (including the plastic bubble) in one year at home in Cerro Gordo, Illinois!

Now there’s nice pair! ’60 Chevy El Caminos I mean.

This ’29 Ford “A” Roadster was originally built in ’64 using a blown Studebaker. The restorer is the original builder Luis Loyola of El Segundo, CA.

“The Bruce Meyer Preservation Award” went to Dean Murray of Paso Robles, CA. for his restored “Triple Nickel” a modified roadster drag car from 1955!

“Outstanding Overall Truck” & “Outstanding Paint” were only 2 of the awards that Tom Stephens from Williams, CA. picked up for his ’48 Ford Pickup called “Vendeta”

“Full Rod Roadster ’35-‘48” award went to this ’36 Auburn Roadster owned by Victor Cacho of Sylmar, CA.

The “Sweepstakes Award for Custom” and “Chip Foose Design Excellence Award” went to this gorgeous ’56 Chrysler 300-B owned by Nancy Ritzow of Manteno, Illinois.

Jim Warren won the “Artered Street Cabriolet pre-‘35” class with this great topless ’32 Ford from Corona Del Mar, CA.

“The Rose”, owner Joe “Sparky” Bullock of Burlingame, CA. had Konocti Motor Co. build this gorgeous ’30 four door Packard in memory of Konocti’s founder Maynard Albertson who passed away Oct. 2009.

Owner Dennis DeCamp of West Covina, CA. calls his very detailed ’70 Ford Mustang “John Henry”. Ol’ Henry is packed with a 427 Roush Ford!

Taking the always tough “Radical Convertible, ’49-‘59” class was this very pink ’51 Mercury convertible “ Angel Baby” owned by Sam Schoenberg of Paramount, CA. With him along side the car is Jeffery Huntoon.

Debby Baker of Cruisin’ for a Cure is giving away this “Bomber Girl” golf cart at her up coming September event.

This Radical Rod Convertible is a ’37 Ford Roadster belonging to Darrell Green of Tulare, CA

Chris Schneer of Costa Mesa, CA. brought his ’50 Mercury called “Mercules” with its supercharged V10 Ford power. It won “Outstanding Engine” and “Outstanding Overall Custom”.

Always a gentleman, Chip Foose posed beside his magazine cover car his popular “P-32” roadster.
