Saturday, 9/07/13, 5:30 A.M. My Buddy Charlie just pulled into the driveway and I'm ready for our trip to the Adirondack Nationals in Lake George, New York. The weather is great and the weather report is calling for temps in the low to mid 70s, some clouds and 0% chance of precipitaion. Should be a great show like it always has been. It's such a great location and there's always new cars there.

After a couple of pit stops we arrive at Lake George Village about 8:20 A.M. and the show grounds of the Fort William Henry Motor Lodge are already filled up with cars. With my little Kodak camera in hand it's time to start taking pictures, a simple task with all of the really nice cars everywhere. The time really flies when you're having a good time. I recognize Glen & Joann Duras's roadster and stop to visit; JoAnn is also a contributing photographer for HotRodHotLine. Gotta get moving as we're meeting fellow photographer and friend Tom Poremba for lunch and spending the afternoon together at the show. We met at this same show several years ago and have became good friends keeping in touch thru EMail a couple of times a week.

After a nostalgic lunch at the A&W Drive-In we start our hike down Canada Street thru the village and it's another car show itself. We reach our destination and meet up with "Samual Adams" at our traditional resting place. After downing a couple each we can't believe that it's starting to rain - I'll NEVER believe another weather report!!! Still taking pictures as we work our way back to the show - gotta meet up with Linda & Bill Yorker and get a couple more pictures of their gorgeous '33 Willys; Too late, it's under cover, but if you check out other shows I've photograghed there are many pictures of it for you to see. At least we still got a chance to visit with Linda & Bill before we headed back home.

Be sure to mark this show on your calendar for next year - Always the weekend after Labor Day, it's one not to be missed.

Hope you enjoy my pictures!

- Walt
