Bay Shore Rodders Belmont Shore Car Show

On Sunday, September 08, 2013 the Bay Shore Rodders hosted their annual Belmont Shore car show. Belmont Shore is near Long Beach California and is a great site for a car show as it's just a couple of blocks from the ocean.

I arrived in the pre-dawn morning to get in line and watched as the parade of cars drove by to do the same; that was a car show all by itself. Oh yah…forgot to mention that while waiting in line the Bay Shore Rodders come by and serve up donuts; now that’s what I call service!

The day started off cool and then warmed up quite a bit. That being said, it was still substantially cooler than it had been during the days leading up to this show. That heat wave might have contributed to a continued drop in registered car participation, which also occurred last year. Even so, over four hundred classics and hot rods were parked on the main street, with some side streets and local business parking lots also dotted with participant cars; heavy pedestrian traffic flowed through the town throughout the day. This is a great car show which I look forward to every year and I’ve yet to be disappointed.…..enjoy the pictures!
