Goodguys 22nd Lone Star Nationals

I wasn’t 100% sure I was going to make the 300 mile one way trip from Houston to the Texas Motor Speedway north of Fort Worth for the Goodguys Lone Star Nationals the first weekend in October. The trip was a “GO” after I received an e-mail from Betsy Bennett from Goodguys Public Relations asking if my brother and I were going to cover the event this year. We’ve been regulars for quite a few years and besides that my brother has been bugging me to go to the Gas Monkey Bar and Grill up in Dallas. On top of that a Texas NFL matchup was scheduled that weekend when the Houston Texans were visiting the Dallas Cowboys. Although I’m from Houston, I’ve been a Cowboys fan all my life and although I didn’t go to the game, just being in Dallas made it feel better especially after Dallas won the game. Anyway thank you Betsy and the Goodguys for another great show, thank you Mother Nature for incredible weather and thank you Hotrod Hotline for helping me share my pictures with everyone. Enjoy.
