Woodbridge New Jersey Main Street Cruise Night
Woodbridge, NJWednesday, July 19, 2017
The 2nd in the series of three Woodbridge New Jersey Main Street Cruise Nights was not attended as well as one might have expected it to be, and the reasons were weather related, alongside a participant drain due to two other shows within 5 miles of the Woodbridge event. Of the two factors that resulted in a moderate participant turnout for the Cruise Night, the sauna-like weather was probably the primary factor, and the other events, drawing off the few brave enough to come out on a sticky July night.
Other than the depressed turnout, this 2nd of 3 Cruise Nights in downtown Woodbridge NJ was fun, and there was still plenty for all to see. Chuck Leonard entertained spectators and vehicle owners alike; Leon, Sheri and Morrissa Schwartz handled the registration of the vehicles, and Marissa did a masterful job of singing the national anthem at the start of the Cruise Night.
The 50/50 Raffle was called around 8:30 p.m., Trophies handed out afterward, and by 9:00 p.m., the vehicle owners headed home.
