The show featured 500 Roadsters, Hot Rods, Muscle and Custom Cars in 7 buildings with several hundred more on Saturday and Sunday's Drive In Car Show. With 50,000 specators the show is "The Grand Daddy of Them All". Two major awards were presented: America's Most Beautiful Roadster and the Al Slonaker Memorial Award. The AMBR award went to Monte Beisham's 1932 Ford Roadster '32 Kugel Muroc No. 4'. Al Slonaker Memorial Award went to Ron and Vicki Ernaberger's 1936 Willys Model 77. Both received a $12,500 prize and were immortalized on separate perpetual trophies. A new feature exhibit was "Drag Racing Then and Now".
