Auto manufacturers from the U.S., Japan, and South Korea were exhibiting their 2023 vehicles at the annual New York International Auto Show, with Ford and Chrysler among the U.S. companies showing the widest range of what they haven to offer. Subaru, Toyota, Kia, Hyundai and Genesis had pretty much everything they had to offer on display, and Ford and Hyundai offering rides on an indoor course in their performance EV’s. Both the Mach E, and the Hyundai performance vehicles had very impressive standing start, push you back in the seat acceleration.
Chevy had three versions of the Corvette on display, the “E-Ray,” the “ZO-6” gas engine, and the Stingray.

In the Pickup and S.U.V. categories, Ford, Chevy, and Toyota had a good sampling of their 2023 vehicles, with Chrysler exhibiting a variety of Jeep, Jeep Pickup, and Jeep S.U.V. models.

Of the EV Pickups, the Ram EV has the highest range, and promises of future models exceeding the current 500 mile range on the “extended range battery” Ram Model.

The downstairs had a large indoor EV Test Ride Course, with BMW, Chevy, and Volkswagen offering test rides in their 2023 Sedans.

The outdoor area had Jeep offering an “Off-Road” Test Ride course, but the line was an hour wait to get on the rode, Toyota also had an outdoor Test Ride course, with as much more reasonable wait time, and several gas and an EV model to ride in.

All in all and an interesting day.
