Hotchkis GM Car Show and Open House

Hotchkis Performance Suspension, makers of top-quality performance suspension components for import and domestic cars, trucks and SUVs, recently held an all GM Car Show just for’58-’96 full size GM cars and trucks, and an open house to show off its newest facilities in Santa Fe Springs, California.
The car show featured representation from Cali SS Car Club (open to owners of ’94-’96 Impala SS and ’91-’96 B- and D-body GM vehicles), and SoCalSS Car Club (for owners of ’94-’96 Impala SS).
John Hotchkis, Hotchkis Performance Suspension founder, is a past professional racecar driver, and he brought out his Porsche 962 racer and fired up for the crowd.
A few Hotchkis-outfitted street customs where also on display including Mike Hickman’s full-custom eRod-LS3 powered Chevy C-10 pickup. Carson Lev, famed Hot Wheels designer, now part of the Chip Foose crew, also showed his clean Hotchkis-equipped ’59 Impala “Redphin” for everyone to enjoy.
In addition to the car show, the Saturday event included free car care products from Mothers, a tour of the shop, tech talks given by John Hotchkis and his engineering staff, an advance look at new GM suspension components, a raffle for Hotchkis merchandise and discounts on products and a catered lunch.
“Our open houses provide an excellent opportunity for enthusiasts to see how we make our products, discuss suspension tech issues with our engineers and get a sneak peek at our new development projects,” John Hotchkis said.
