24th Annual Adirondack Nationals

The 24th Annual Adrirondack Nationals always the weekend after Labor Day. Sponsored by the Albany Rods & Kustoms car club at the Fort William Henry Resort in Lake George, New York.

Stacey David from GearZ on the Speed Channel was at the show on Friday and Saturday. He did have times during the show for autographs and also did a couple speaking sessions for anyone interested in tech tips. The Fundraiser this year is for the Wounded Warrior Project. 

On our way up to the show we stopped at a rest area on the Northway and there saw a rodder with some troubles, a piece of his air cleaner had come off and entered through the carb and was stuck in a valve. Then at the show a box truck backed into a '57 chevy and tore off his front fender (see picture 215). 

The weather was great on Friday and as usual there were a wide aray of cars. The show is not only inside the resort but on the streets and hotel parking lots, as many more people bring their cars and then can register for the event. It is great to watch and hear the cars cruise up and down Canada Street all day long!  Vince Caterina
