NSRAStreet Rod Nationals
Louisville, KYAugust 2011
Jack always goes out to visit with the guys at the MHRA Hot Rod Repair Shop
At every show there are rodders who have the misfortune to have mechanical problems and if these guys weren’t there to help it would be awful.
Hotrodhotline is proud to be among those who support the MHRA Hot Rod Repair Shop.
Big Al had a problem that the guys had never seen before... “Flat Big Al” had a broken leg...
But these guys are not deterred by anything...
They got right to work diagnosing the problem
Made some splints ....
and the master surgeons applied them
With the help of onlookers who were amazed....
And there he is .... “Flat Big Al” and the real deal... both ready to get back to work...
Thanks guys....
Now “Flat Big Al” has to earn his keep...
Okay..
Enough goofing off.... there are guys that need your help here.
And Gal’s who are sooo appreciative
No fooling.... our friends at the repair shop help hundreds of rodders every year.
Kwik Wire showing off their wares
And Gary talking with some rodders about their wiring needs.
Ron Covell was at the show sharing a booth with Larry O’Toole from Australia
Our friend Larry Brewer stopped by...
Very cool car
Jack always makes it out to the swap meet
He was seriously eyeing this project
The “regret” of the show for Jack was that he didn’t snatch up this 34 burn job in the swap meet. It went for $20k and had lots of great stuff.... but he probably didn’t need another project.
Steele Rubber had this awesome Chev Coupe in their booth. It also happens to be for sale by one of our Dealers ... Jackson Sales in KY
Our friend Sam Memmolo and one of the guys from Masters Entertainment stopped by... In case you haven’t seen it, Sam and Dave Bowman have a show on Fox Sports Network on Sundays.. so be sure to check it out.
This fabulous car in the Sherwin Williams Planet Color Booth belongs to our friend Dick Rennick ...
Take a look at the headlight lenses
Back on the floor...
Buddy John Stimac was schmoozing with the Kugel folks
Hi John.....
And the Hotrodhotline crew was working the crowd
Steve Cook, builder of the Ridler Winner, SunCammer, stopped by our booth. We had presented him with a nicely framed set of pictures from the Detroit show and he wanted to thank us .... Steve is a really nice guy ... and soooo talented...
Then some wise guy in front of the booth say’s “Mary Ann... Stand up”... Very Funny
Steve’s creation “SunCammer” was up on a lift in one of the booths at the show so we got a chance to see the fine workmanship
This is amazing....
Just as awesome underneath as it is from the top
Well there’s no doubt why this car won the Ridler... We loved it when we first saw it and this is just the icing on the cake.... Great job Steve.... can’t wait to see what you do next.
