Check out the exhaust pipe hangers by Deeds Engineering – a great product, well made – all polished billet with a poly bushing.

The Classic Instruments speedometer sender interfered with the shift rods, so I had a short speedo cable made up for a remote mounting.

The headers have my signature removable screw caps (see my first roadster). Although I don’t do any more racing, I wanted the same look.


I used Bob Drake rubber insulation between the chassis and body. The body alignment pin is just a long bolt with the head cut off, and then tapered. I used two in front and two in the rear – body went on and aligned perfectly – no juggling around to find the bolt holes.
